QAYG Improvised 2011 Completed

Out in the snow...a few to many shadows across the quilt but I love the light. I tried yesterday, but it was grey out and the colours of the quilt looked so different, than they really are. Besides it supposed to get cold again this weekend, so this will have to do.

 
Maybe I should have gone off the deck, into the yard, but the snow was so deep....and I was to lazy to get my boots....

 
All done and ready to be washed. I have taken way to many pictures of this quilt already.

    This is an amazing quilt. For someone like me who is very into symmetry I really admire the freedom of no pattern and quilt as you go. It's inspiring!

    Beautiful! I saved your quilt as a favorite. I would like to make a quilt like this to use in our living room. I like your way of joining the quilt as you go blocks too. I might have to try that!

    You are the answer to my quilting prayers! Oh my how I've struggled on how to finish the QAYG that I started for my son when he was leaving for college (upon his request) well he is second term freshman year. WELL your connecting method has just freed up my blockage. I am yanking that quilt back out of the cupboard and finishing that sucker now! I'm, STOKED. You have saved my LIFE!!! I am a mother without the guilt of not finishing her son's college quilt now.
