Back to a little more piecing....the wide stripes, on the right, were pieced a few years ago. It's amazing the treasures hidden away in ones fabric bins. After I make a new piece I usually try it on different edges of the quilt. Quite often it ends up on the opposite side that I planned.....see what I mean about leaving a few things to chance.
Trying out the striped piece.
Also, I would like to introduce you to a new site where us Canadian Quilters can post about our
WORKS IN PROGRESS.

WORKS IN PROGRESS.

Enjoying this journey.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing how just moving those striped pieces to the other side makes such a big difference. Loving this!
ReplyDeleteI like it best on the left, but I can't, for the life of me, figure out why :)

I think I like it on the left because it balance out the 2 larger pieces of purple on the right.
