ReplyDeletethese look very dramatic. make more! make more!
ReplyDeleteThey have the look of stylized letters.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Lucky you to have some solo time to create!
ReplyDeleteOh you aren't done yet, now you need a tutorial on how you do the reverse applique.
ReplyDeleteI'm still at the playing around stage...I'm sure there will be a tutorial some time in the future.
DeleteI Love it! And I think a tutorial would be great too!
ReplyDeleteLove it, love it, love it. The addition of those really thin horizontal strips on the right side are WONDERFUL.
ReplyDeleteIs the fabric on the bottom pieced or a great big print?
Seeing your art quilts step-by-step is so inspiring. It's great to have you back in the studio.
Hugs, Diane
Thanks...there are two large print fabrics and one graduating solid. The piecing was minimal.
DeleteIt's good to play, fun!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day.
Always, Queenie
Thanks...one never knows what the "playing" will lead to.
DeleteThis is so cool! I really love the effect of the close stripes with the vibrant under layer.
