Once I get started, it's hard to stop....but tomorrow, it's back to the cold. So, I thought I would spend a few hours sewing, since I'm not into football the way a certain other member of my family is.
I'll be leaving this project behind, as I go back to Alberta.....it will be waiting for me when I come back, after Quilt Con.
Yes, I'm going...I better find a picture of myself and think of five things you don't know about me...that could be tough.

The quilting is beautiful, as is the whole project. It is not that cold here this coming week, it is not a bad time to return.
ReplyDeleteThe spiraling quilting looks fantastic and the colours and pattern are great . A beautiful modern design quilt.
ReplyDeleteThe spiral quilting is beautiful. Hope you have a fabulous tine at Quiltcon.
ReplyDeleteHave a great trip....by the way, I am loving your current project.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the tips and tute, I love your quilting. I have a new machine just so I can Quilt like you, So excited, I am gonna have to take a few lessons on how to work this great machine I got first.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much. If you go to my Flickr Group..QAYG Unstitched at http://www.flickr.com/groups/howtoqayg/ There is a list of a few other tutorials you might like to check out using this method. Wendy Hill works that way, you might want to check out her work. I hope that helps.
ReplyDeleteI love this! With Easter coming up, it kinda reminds me of giant Easter eggs:) You put colors together so amazingly. I'm jealous of that!
ReplyDeleteThanks...I really need to keep working on this one.
DeleteOh these blocks are so lovely! I was reading up on your spirals (and I am doing that as soon as I can) when suddenly the impact of your blocks stopped me in my tracks. How do you get those rounds with stripes in between? Would love to do something like this. Oh and another question. Does QAYG go well with stitch and flip blocks more than anything? The traditional blocks require that exact 1/4 inch seam at the edge. Can one do QAYG with them as easily too?
