There's an upside to procrastination??? You bet there is....
I had put today aside, in order to work in my office....something I've been avoiding for quite sometime. There are still several jobs lurking, from well before Christmas. So why not procrastinate a little longer???
I went for a wild quilting ride instead. You know the kind.....
Fabric flying, no plan, no finishing a WIP......just pure, hair blowing in the wind, type quilting!!!! The fact that I was not doing what I should be doing, made it all the more delicious.

ReplyDeleteAfter my weekend of procastinating and thouroghly enjoying it, I must admit, it was back to the enormous pile of laundry..... that thing just never seems to go away :-) Loving your design so far!!

ReplyDeleteThis is the way I work all the time. Don't you just love it. I wouldn't have it any other way in my studio. That is why I design and make all of my quilts just the way I want them without all those hard to understand instructions. P.S. I can't follow instructions.

ReplyDeleteLove your curved piecing. Did you just wing it as far as the size of blocks you started with. I gave it a shot last night and had so much fun but had trouble in some aspects with losing a fair amount of fabric, not piecing the "right pieces" back together and I cannot figure out for the life of me why the the"ends" don't match up when I do sew it together. But all this to say it is incredibly cool. Whew,

ReplyDeleteLove your work. I made some curved lines and posted on my blog. It was so funny. The most amazing is when I have seen the picture with your finished blocks covering the sewing machine. I began laughing. Mine is only 5 inches square.
