A few hours ago I was a tad overwhelmed....now several hours later I'm seriously overwhelmed, but progress is being made!!!!
Last week the unfinished part of my basement was finally dry walled and painted.....time to go shopping for shelving.
Did I mention I'm a storage junkie??? After the shelves were up I was chaffing at the bit to start unpacking, but alas, the floor still needed painting.
I love my golden coloured floor and even the quilting frame, for the
long arm is set up...so exciting!!!!
Seriously....this could take a while. Unfortunately there won't be any quilting, until order is restored.....I'm really missing it.
wow that is some storage area you have there....fabulous
ReplyDeleteOh, I am so happy for you. This is going to be wonderful. You may go down to the basement and never want to go back up stairs. I can not wait to see it when you are all finished setting up.
ReplyDeleteHave fun and keep smiling,
Your blogging sister, Connie :)

ReplyDeleteWow, two alcoves with lots of shelving. More power to you. Best wishes with your new sewing/quilting studio space. Diane
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful. We are about to begin a renovation project that will give me about a 15 x 28 square foot sewing/quilting space. So, I am truly studying what you are doing. I am getting a longarm with 12 foot table when all is complete. It is ordered and on hold for delivery. Life is good. Thanks for sharing any please continue sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love that alcove with all the shelves. I think it's wonderful and so light filled and spacious. You put a chair in the center and just sit and soak up the color. I would love that. Never enough color! It will be a wonderful room (actually already is). Have fun making it yours!
ReplyDeleteIn our stash our souls are lurking...I love my stash and my shed...even though it is smallish. I love the way my fabrics call to me from different parts of the shed, along with paints, pencils, stencils, papers, stamps...ooooh my heart is beating faster just thinking about it. You will soon be in seventh heaven once more creating stuff to get us gasping!
ReplyDeleteYou are very neat! LOL Me not so much. Try some hand work while you wait to get the machine up and running.
ReplyDeleteOh, wow! Your new studio space looks fantastic! Look at all that room. Look at all that storage. Look at all that stuff! I can't wait to see the first piece of quilty art you make in this new space.

ReplyDeleteYour space is wonderful and the floor colour is very cheery.
ReplyDeleteWow, I am jealous of all those shelves. Looks like you could open a shop.
ReplyDeleteGood for you! Shelving seems to be a great use of space for storing fabric. I may just have to follow suit. I could get a lot more fabric on shelves than fit in my cabinet on one wall.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic space! It will definitely be worth the time it takes to set it up, however long and frustrating it seems :)
ReplyDeleteWow your space is about 8 times bigger than mine, I'm drooling!
ReplyDeleteare you setting up a home studio or a quilt shop!
ReplyDeleteWow! To have all that wired shelving and storage cabinets you must feel like the luckiest person in the world! It will be so nice to have everything at your fingertips! I can't wait to see more pictures as you get all your working materials placed in their new digs!
