Progress

A few hours ago I was a tad overwhelmed....now several hours later I'm seriously overwhelmed, but progress is being made!!!!
Last week the unfinished part of my basement was finally dry walled and painted.....time to go shopping for shelving.

Did I mention I'm a storage junkie??? After the shelves were up I was chaffing at the bit to start unpacking, but alas, the floor still needed painting.

Ah....the painting has begun!!!

I love my golden coloured floor and even the quilting frame, for the
long arm is set up...so exciting!!!!

Now for the overwhelming part.....yikes, that's just some of the boxes!!!

Seriously....this could take a while. Unfortunately there won't be any quilting, until order is restored.....I'm really missing it.

    Have fun and keep smiling,

I am getting a longarm with 12 foot table when all is complete. It is ordered and on hold for delivery. Life is good. Thanks for sharing any please continue sharing.

  13. I love that alcove with all the shelves. I think it's wonderful and so light filled and spacious. You put a chair in the center and just sit and soak up the color. I would love that. Never enough color! It will be a wonderful room (actually already is). Have fun making it yours!

  14. In our stash our souls are lurking...I love my stash and my shed...even though it is smallish. I love the way my fabrics call to me from different parts of the shed, along with paints, pencils, stencils, papers, stamps...ooooh my heart is beating faster just thinking about it. You will soon be in seventh heaven once more creating stuff to get us gasping!

  20. Good for you! Shelving seems to be a great use of space for storing fabric. I may just have to follow suit. I could get a lot more fabric on shelves than fit in my cabinet on one wall.
