So, I'm a tad impulsive now and again!!! Just what can I blame it on.....the weather, moving weariness???
Now to figure this baby out.....pretty straight forward actually!!
Let's see where this takes me.

How exciting!! I can hardly wait to see what you will do with it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fab impulse buy! I can't wait to hear how it runs for you as I've been eyeing up a sweet sixteen for a while :)
ReplyDeleteTurning green as I type! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI have thought of one ever since I saw one. I look forward to your progress getting to know it.
ReplyDeleteYou will love this machine! I have wanted to add this to my "little" studio, buy I don't have room in this location. Someday though. It is the perfect machine for what you create!
ReplyDeleteI sure hope so!!
DeleteReally eager to hear your review and comparison to using your long arm. BTW, thanks for your studio tips. Maybe your readers will contribute their quilt studio ideas, too.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations - I'm happy for you that you were impulsive and can't wait to see how much fun it is.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great buy, I played on that same machine at a quilt show in France last year. I loved it! I'm sure you'll get a lot of use out of it.
ReplyDeleteCongrats, maybe next year....hmmm.
ReplyDeleteOh so jealous! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteoh what fun! we have to have out new toys, and this one has me green with envy!
ReplyDeleteoooooh fun! I tested one of those recently, but not in my budget right now. have fun!
ReplyDeleteSeriously?? Why not use the long arm? Anyway, I am sure you will have fun with it and you clearly have plenty of room too. Time to quilt, not shop.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty! Love her! I too have been impulsive this new year, but for a very much modest model. Have fun !
ReplyDeleteCongratulations ! Will be fun to see what you will do with it ;-))
ReplyDeleteWonderful! Hope you have lots of fun with it. Looking forward to seeing how you like it! xx
ReplyDeleteI can't even imagine having the financial resources to make a purchase like this on impulse.
ReplyDeleteI have the Handiquilter Sweet Sixteen...mine is called "My Precious". You are going to love your new baby! I've had her for about 2.5 years, I think. I don't know what how I managed without her!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking at it too. I'm debating over having a sewing machine with a larger throat (JUKI) or this one. Looking forward to see your progress.
ReplyDeleteI'll let you know how it works for me.
DeleteCongrats have fun playing
ReplyDeleteHow exciting. Please share with us about how it all works as I'm quite curious to learn more.
ReplyDeleteI am also interested in how your new "toy" works.
ReplyDeleteWowser...lucky lady! This must be what our shop ower just purchased....she was trying to explain it to me and now I understand. Just kept forgetting to look it up when I got home. Duh!;)
ReplyDeleteI love how small that table it....hmmmm....you just made me rethink a new sewing machine!;)
Now we'll need a report like Vivian said....tell us how your "new toy" works!:)
I keep looking at these too... I'm terrible at FMQ, but I'm trying to do it on a 30 year old pfaff with a small harp. My mom has a frame and a juki and I do not have space for that in my small apartment... These look so tempting! I can't wait to see how you make out with it.
ReplyDeleteNew toys - aren't they great? You get a new sewing machine; I get a new lift system for my garage door. Hum? I think I like your toy better!
ReplyDeleteI love my sweet sixteen ...you will not regret your decision. Take time to practice your movements. And your straight line work with rulers. I must say I love new toys mine is the 'scan and cut'
ReplyDeleteThank you for your inspiration...love reading your blog

ooooo so exciting....
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Mari! I have been looking and drooling over this machine as well, but think I may just upgrade to the Juki TL 2010 Q for now. I currently use a Juki TL98-Q for my quilting and really like it. Have fun and I'll be looking forward to seeing your results with the Sweet 16.
ReplyDeleteWhat a blessing . . congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI do believe the truth with all the ideas you have presented in your post. Theyre really effective and will certainly perform. Still, the content are too short for beginners. Could you please extend them a bit from next time? Thanks for the post

ReplyDeleteYeah for you. I can see lots of new fun things in your future.
ReplyDeleteSo curious to hear about how fabulous this Sweet Sixteen machine is working!!!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Congrats, have fun! It is high up o my wish list! Maybe next 5 birthdays and Chrissies' rolled into one pressie!!
ReplyDeleteThis is the one I want, so I'm looking forward to hearing your review!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
Your quilts are just amazing. The "31" blog lead me to you and I just love your art. I look forward to seeing what comes next.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Julie.
DeleteJust found your website through Debbie and SMS, and am taking some time to browse. I am pretty curious about this machine, is this considered a long-arm or mid-arm machine? I love the fact that it doesn't take up an entire room, yet looks like it would be much easier to quilt on than my machine. Anyway I hope my kids give me a little more time to browse, but in any case I am adding you to my RSS list to come back again later!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Have you sen this pulley system to manage large quilts?

Congratulations on your new addition! "Luxury" is a judgment call! I have had mine for about 6 months and am just getting comfortable with the hum...the sound, speed and movement that works best for me. I still love quilting with my walking foot but it is so much fun and much easier to FMQ with this baby! I am following you now and will look forward to seeing the amazing things you do with this!
