Back to the snow.....sigh
It's always hard to leave beautiful Victoria....but my other life is calling me home. I sometimes feel like I live in two different realities. But hey, quilting is a big part of both worlds!!!!

I love what you do when you play around with your scraps :)
ReplyDeleteI would say that three birthdays is a great reason to head back to snow country. Stay warm.
Your blogging sister,
Connie :)
I am sure they missed you too. It should be mostly melted again soon.
ReplyDeleteApril Birthdays! Awesome!! Hubby and his mom's are on the 5th...our boy on the 8th and girl on the 9th so we will be doing big time birthdays next weekend!!
ReplyDeleteI was talking about you today...directing a customer to your blog to learn about how you QAYG!:)
Am loving your leftovers! Enjoy all those birthdays...
ReplyDeleteI'm amazed at your productivity considering how often you bounce back and forth between homes....haha. It would be very difficult for me to get back in the groove and continue with whatever project I had left behind. You're a better woman then me :)
ReplyDeleteI wanted to see your "scrap" quilt but I guess I'll have to wait. Safe travels.
Thanks Colleen, but I usually have trouble switching gears....on both sides.
DeleteYour wonderful assortment of dramatic black and white fabrics makes terrific transitions with your leftover blocks. I'm looking forward to seeing what you'll come up with for the birthdays! My little (age 8) granddaughter loves the little 6"x8" zippered shoulder bag I made her from some Kaffe Fassett fabric. Your leftovers would work, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteOh Marianne I feel your pain! We had to leave BC and come to Calgary to sell our condo here. It is minus 20 with the wind chill and snow everywhere and grey as grey can be. Really, really don't like it one bit!
ReplyDeleteI know, it's a tough transistion.
DeleteSoon it will be spring (they tell me). In the meanwhile, enjoy the warmth of your studio - whichever it may be! :)
ReplyDeleteSO lovely to see you !! Great trunk show/talk. My brain has been buzzing away. Thank you!
